Ag Days for Kids

Texas state history is taught in the 4th and 7th grades in the state of Texas.

Two weeks in October, students are taught by real farmers and ranchers about all types of agriculture, demonstrations, along with farm safety, and hands-on activities. Every child attending one of the fairs leaves the center with a copy of the Student Acitvity Book entitled "From the Farm to the Barn and Beyond," developed especially for students.
