Field Trips & Programs

The Big Red Barn exists to educate young people who know little about farming and ranching. On a real working farm, students see where their food comes from and relive the heritage and culture that founded the strength of America.

Farmed since the 1850s. A center since 2003.

The land has been farmed since the 1850s and was donated by Wilfred & Betty Bartoskewitz, fifth-generation farmers, so young people who know little about farming and ranching can learn where their food comes from.
